Our services include representation for applicants and provision of expert evidence at Council and Environment Court hearing proceedings.
Types of Resource Consent we complete:
A. Consent - is required when an activity is not permitted
by a Regional or District Plan or where a rule in a Plan
is contravened, or for activities seeking to establish out
of zone.
B. Subdivision Consent - is required to create extra titles for dwellings or land.
C. Certificates of Compliance - apply for permitted activities and can be sought to secure a development right for up to 5 years.
D. Discharge Consent - for discharges to land, air, or water (including discharge of stormwater).
E. Private Plan Changes - this may involve a range of applications from re-zoning land by applying existing rules
to new areas, or even writing entirely new objectives, policies and rules for specific activities in specific locations.
